01 · DATA CONTROLLER

Livehopper, EURL (SIREN 104 361 993), whose registered office is at Chez Sofradom, 131 Boulevard Carnot, 78110 Le Vésinet, France, acts as the data controller for personal data collected through livehopper.com.

Livehopper is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under Article 37 GDPR, as its activities do not fall within the mandatory designation criteria.

02 · WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHY

Livehopper processes only the data strictly necessary for the following purposes.

a) Contact form and inbound email

Data
First name, last name, email address, company, job title, message content, technical metadata (date, IP address, user agent).
Purpose
Respond to professional enquiries, manage commercial and pre-contractual exchanges.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest in responding to inbound requests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(b)) where the exchange concerns a potential engagement.
Retention
3 years from last contact for prospects; duration of the contractual relationship plus 5 years for clients (commercial statute of limitations).

b) Technical logging and security

Data
IP addresses, HTTP requests, security events.
Purpose
Prevent attacks, ensure availability and integrity of the service.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and legal obligation of security (Art. 32 GDPR).
Retention
12 months.

Livehopper does not perform any audience measurement, profiling, or behavioral tracking on this site. Livehopper does not collect any special category data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR and does not engage in solely automated decision-making producing legal effects.

03 · RECIPIENTS

Data is accessible, within the limits of their authorizations, to Livehopper's sole director and to its service providers acting as processors under Article 28 GDPR:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): web hosting, CDN, security.
  • Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC: email service (Google Workspace), for messages sent to legal@livehopper.com and related addresses.

No data is sold, rented, or exchanged for commercial purposes.

04 · INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. These transfers are governed by:

  • Adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which both Cloudflare and Google are certified.
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission, supplemented by additional technical measures (encryption in transit and at rest).
05 · YOUR RIGHTS

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your data.
  • Right to rectification.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability.
  • Right to object, in particular to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • Right to issue instructions on the fate of your data after death.

To exercise these rights: legal@livehopper.com, or by post to the registered office above. A response will be provided within one month. Proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt.

06 · COOKIES AND SIMILAR TRACKERS

The livehopper.com website uses only strictly necessary cookies, which are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL guidelines. No consent banner is therefore displayed.

Livehopper does not use any analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not store any functional preference cookies.

07 · SECURITY

Livehopper implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), access control, software updates, and logging of security events. In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, Livehopper will notify the CNIL within 72 hours and, where applicable, the data subjects concerned.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our activities or in the applicable regulations. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates the date of the latest revision.
